RYD LIMITED WARRANTY:

The specific warranty covering your RYD bicycle is governed by the law of the state or country in which it was purchased, and applies only to bicycles purchased from Authorized RYD Retailers.

FRAMES (frame, fork structure): RYD frames are warranted by RYD, 100 West 9th Street LA, CA 90015 against manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner.

Components: All other components, including forks, drive-train parts, frame fixtures and finishes (paint and decals) are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and/or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original retail purchase.

TERMS OF WARRANTY:

This warranty is not meant to suggest or imply that the bicycle cannot be broken or will last forever. It does mean that the bicycle is covered subject to the terms of the warranty. This warranty applies only to the original owner of a RYD bicycle and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

For any warranty claim to be considered, the bicycle must be brought in to an Authorized RYD Bicycle Retailer on the same continent on which the bicycle was purchased. The bicycle must be in assembled condition and accompanied by the original, dated sales receipt for the bicycle. (Be sure to keep your receipt in a safe place.)

This warranty applies only to bicycles purchased in fully assembled and adjusted condition from Authorized RYD Retailers or other outlets specifically authorized by RYD to distribute RYD bicycles.

This warranty is void if the bicycle is subjected to abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, alteration, modification, an accident or other abnormal, excessive, or improper use.

Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, including the results of fatigue, is not covered. Fatigue damage is a symptom of the frame being worn out through normal use. It is one kind of normal wear and tear, and it is the owner’s responsibility to inspect his/her bicycle.

Damage resulting from improper assembly or maintenance, or from installation of parts and accessories not compatible with the RYD bicycle, is not covered.

All labor charges for warranty service are the responsibility of the bicycle’s owner.

During the duration of this warranty, RYD will either repair any defective frame, or, at our option, replace any defective frame with the same or most nearly comparable model then available. THIS IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY. ANY AND ALL OTHER REMEDIES AND DAMAGES THAT MAY OTHERWISE BE APPLICABLE ARE EXCLUDED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR PUNATIVE DAMAGES.THIS IS THE ONLY WARRANTY MADE BY RYD ON ITS FRAMES AND COMPONENTS, AND THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION HEREIN. ANY WARRANTIES THAT MAY OTHERWISE BE IMPLIED BY LAW INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXCLUDED.

This Limited Warranty gives the consumer specific legal rights. The consumer may also have other legal rights which vary from state to state or country to country. Some states and countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. If it is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction that a certain provision of this limited warranty does not apply, such determination shall not affect any other provision of this limited warranty and all other provisions shall remain in effect.

PAYMENTS:

We gladly accept Paypal, Cash if you are local, and all major credit cards. Buyers not in the USA must pay with PayPal.
We can also accept money orders- give us a call for further details.

SHIPPING:

We ship via FedEx for most US Shipments and lightweight international shipments. We ship USPS for PO Boxes and larger International shipments. CANADA always goes USPS to avoid the brokerage fees. Please note- international buyers are responsible for taxes/duties/vat, etc.

RETURNS:

We gladly accept returns for defective or non-functioning products. Products must be in unused condition, and in the original packaging with tags attached Returns require a return authorization from Red Your Dead returns department. A return authorization number can be obtained by emailing us at returns@redyourdead.com If you have any problems with the product, please contact us. Upon receipt of the product, we can either issue an exchange, store credit, or a refund. All shipping charges, outbound and return, are non-refundable. Returns can only be accepted within 15 days from the purchase date.

Any returns received for reasons other than the above must be sent at the buyer’s expense and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Any refunds or credits issued will not take into account the original shipping price.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

Buyers not in the USA must pay with PayPal. International buyers are completely responsible for paying their own duties and customs fees. These fees are determined by your government, not RYD. Packages being sent to international destinations may take longer to arrive due to customs delays. We absolutely will not mark any package as a “gift” , "present", or display a cheaper price to reduce duties.
